1793.01.21:断头台落下,旧制度与王权一同终结
从君主到阶下囚,再到断头台上的死者,路易十六的死亡只用了几步。法国国民公会以叛国罪将他送上断头台,刀落之际,千年的“王权神圣”随之断裂。今天仍值得记住,是因为这次处决不是一场宫廷政变,而是现代政治第一次以法律和人民的名义终结一个国王。
